Quinta do Laranjal is a restored farmhouse set in its own orange grove in the hills north of Tavira. In spring the air smells of blossom, and all year round you can pick fruit for breakfast straight from the trees.
The villa has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a big country kitchen. Outside, the pool is surrounded by lawn and loungers, and the outdoor kitchen has a wood-fired oven and barbecue.
Tavira and the coast are fifteen minutes away by car, and the hill village of Cachopo is worth a drive. The quinta is quiet and remote, so a car is essential.
