Casa das Salinas is a quiet villa on the edge of the Ria Formosa salt pans, just outside Tavira. From the pool and garden you can watch flamingos and egrets feeding in the shallow water.
Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a bright open living space make it a comfortable home for a family or two couples. The garden has an outdoor shower, a barbecue and a long table for evening meals.
Tavira town is a ten-minute bike ride along the flat salt pan road, and bikes are provided. The beaches of Ilha de Tavira are a short ferry ride away.
