A 6 km clifftop path from Marinha to Vale Centeanes, with sea caves, swims and a lighthouse.
The Percurso dos Sete Vales Suspensos runs for about 6 km along the cliffs between Praia da Marinha and Vale Centeanes. It's one of the most beautiful walks in Europe.
The route
Start at Marinha early in the morning and walk east. You'll pass Benagil and its famous sea cave, the Alfanzina lighthouse, and a string of valleys that drop to small beaches.
Tips
Allow 2–3 hours one way and bring plenty of water. There's very little shade. Stay back from the cliff edges, which can be unstable.
Our Carvoeiro guests can arrange a taxi back to the start through our local team.
