Villa Benagil View sits on the coastal plateau above Benagil, a short walk from the famous sea cave. The infinity pool and lawned garden look out over the cliffs and the open Atlantic.
Five bedrooms, all en suite, are arranged on one level, which makes it easy for families and older guests. The kitchen has a large island, and a covered lounge outside is the place to be in the afternoon heat.
Benagil beach, where kayak tours to the cave start, is a ten-minute walk. Marinha beach and the Seven Hanging Valleys trail are both nearby.
