A relaxed homestay for surfers, with board storage and a garden hammock.
Sagres Surf House is a friendly homestay run by Tiago, a local surf instructor. It sits in a quiet street a few minutes from Tonel and Mareta beaches, with a garden of succulents and hammocks for after-surf naps.
The two guest rooms share a bathroom and a big kitchen. There is an outdoor shower, a board rack and wetsuit hooks, and Tiago can arrange lessons or board hire.
Sagres town has good cafés and a lively evening scene in summer. Cabo de São Vicente, the south-western tip of Europe, is a ten-minute drive and the place to watch sunset.
